Using RPM

RPM is this neat little thing from red hat (Red-hat Package Manager) that allows you to install a package along with several of it's needed components. The problem? You have to get the dependancies yourself. Yeah you lazy prick. You do it. Anywhooozles, here are a few things to look at so you don't flop like a fish like I did when you come across it.

Installing a Package

Yeah boi so you wanna install a package? well to do that just hit up the “rpm -ivh”

yoloswag~# rpm -ivh megahorsepr0n.rpm

Checking the Package

Yeah boi you just installed a package and you wanna check the deets on dat? Well for that you need to check out the “rpm -qi”

yoloswag~# rpm -qi megahorsepr0n
