- One of the first projects I worked on was testing various unused hard drives lying around the lair. We had a testing unit already set up so I learned how to use that first. It allowed for two hard drives to be tested at a time, which sped things up but was still time consuming. In getting all the hard drives together to be tested it allowed for me to organize them in one location and by drive size. Any bad hard drive was thrown away and organized into various boxes determined by its size range. This was a basic project, but important and useful. Now the lair as organized hard drives ready to be used with no immediate worries of failure.
