local domain mail now works
For a while now, mail destined for users at our local domains (not lab46.corning-cc.edu) would be redirected by the mailserver to me.
This caused problems where user submitted cron jobs that generate errors or output would not be sent to the appropriate designee for diagnosis, but to me.
I finally fixed this, via some combination of the following methods:
- Postfix address rewriting http://www.postfix.org/postconf.5.html#local_header_rewrite_clients
- changing /etc/mailname on mail.offbyone.lan AND lab46 to be lab46.corning-cc.edu
Now, everything seems to be working, with no new problems introduced.

Finally got were working on a VM. I think my problem was with either plan9port, or its non-standard PATH not getting inherited properly, preventing it from finding rather fundamental and critical components, such as 'rc'.
