Provided technical support for Corning Incorporated HQ and Shared Services internal customers. Designed an internal process to gather information for deployment. Corning Incorporated, Science & Technology (S&T) 04/1997 to 06/2002 Project Analyst Worked with system developers to complete projects to use Palm OS bar-code devices to automate a manual asset management system and to capture real time laboratory equipment inspection data. Completed a project as a Project leader to select a desktop PC vendor. Created, developed, and published a website for an IT Mobile Computing. Built and implemented corporate standard images for PCs and laptops. Directed a team of five technical supports staff in Mobile Computing. Researched, tested, piloted and recommended wireless products, mobile and desktop computers. Negotiated with hardware vendors to provide new devices for testing. Created training documentation.
