My name is Eric Rava and I'm a systems analyst for CCC IT. I went to CCC for my first two years (networking and web design) and I'm a recent graduate from MU. I enjoy hanging out with friends and playing pickup games. I played soccer in college and coached for three years (would like to continue coaching). I like to build things that automate chores or save energy. One of these projects was to make a water heater tank only call for water during two times of the day (save energy costs). I also enjoy reading about new technology and going to events that provide demos of the products. I've been able to go to Ithaca College multiple times to view some of their technology setup and to view new items in their sandbox. New things always seem to impress me and I'm constantly trying to learn from them. The reason I'm constantly trying to automate things is because I hate wasting time on repeated tasks. I'm excited to learn Linux/UNIX to find out what can be scripted instead of being manual in Windows.
