Cole A. Brown's Opus

What happens in Lab46.. Stays in Lab46

Introduction

My name is Cole Brown. I am currently attending Corning Community College while pursuing a major in Computer Science. I live in a small apartment in Elmira, NY near my father, sister and her three kids. My favorite movie is the Matrix. My favorite book is Shogun by James Clavell. I thought Skittles were only one flavor until till two years ago. I'm terrified of heights. My ultimate professional goal is to become a programmer/ staff writer for a video game studio. So far everyone I've met at CCC has been wonderful and positive. I really look forward to working with the students of CSCS1320.

UNIX/Linux Fundamentals Journal

01/20/2015

I wrote my first program in UNIX today. Writing this program was significant because just having that little bit of reference experience allowed me to see patterns. The concept I'm having difficulty with now is choosing what to practice. The currents challenges for the course right now are breaking down learning UNIX into small manageable chunks.
