Hey all. My name is Dave Schoeffler but most people call me by my nickname Sheffy. I am a Computer Science major at Corning Community College. This is my 5th semester at CCC and 4th being full time. This is my second to last semester here at Corning Community College where upon completion I will be transferring to a yet to be determined 4 year school. My plan is to get a Bachelors in Computer Science with a Minor in Math and possible go on to get a Master's in Computer Science, but we will see how long I can put up with school :).

I've enjoyed my experience at Corning so far, mainly because of my awesome teachers. Last semester I took UNIX/Linux with Matt and really enjoyed learning a new operating system. I look forward to using that knowledge to be a better programmer. I currently have my own lawn mowing business to pay the bills but I can't wait to be able to get some computer based job. I am not sure what job field I would like to get into yet but I know I wanna work with computers.

What else can I tell you about myself? Well I play guitar and like most any sport (except for soccer because its not really a sport). I'll be turning 19 pretty soon and am really looking forward to this class. I'm looking forward to expanding my current knowledge of C/C++ to be able to write some wicked cool programs.
