Assignments, Documents, Information, and Projects
Week NOW
- EoCE is now located at the bottom of your Opus. It is accessible only by you (and me). As such:
- you MUST be logged in to the wiki to see it.
- if it doesn't show up and you are logged in, try adding “?purge=true” (sans quotes) onto the end of the URL and load that.
Week 7
- We started off trying to review C, but ended up having an in-depth and detailed discussion about the preprocessor, as well as some more in-dapth looks at various header files, function prototypes, and other bits of C goodness.
- I mentioned we would be taking a Knowledge Assessment this week.
Week 6
- There may be a Knowledge Assessment next week! On anything and everything we have learned thus far!
- If there are no questions, we may talk about functions.
Week 5
- Have ready your house, snowman, and CCC Logo to show me (along with your code)
- Have ready your checkerboard code and image to show me
- We may play more with arrays this week; maybe draw some polygons.
Week 4
- Opus/Project check (have your stuff ready!)
- building blocks: GD library for fun and profit
Week 3
- input with scanf()
- output format processing with printf()
- chars and strings
- argc, argv
- if statements
Week 2
- Variables and Data Types! For Friday, complete the program stanzas for the unsigned data types
- For next week: Complete the entire program (unsigned + signed data types, and pertinent floating point values)
- man 3 printf is your friend
- remember to commit code changes to your repository
Week 1
- Set up screen + irssi to get on the class chat.
- Type in, compile, and study the Hello, World! example.
