  • Started studing how a CPU actually works
  • In order to create a CPU simulator into minecraft I first need to find out how a CPU does its thing
  • Taking in all of what a CPU has to do
  • Keeping up to date with my opus

  • Adding Latches to bitbucket repository
  • To keep my repository up to date with all of the projects
  • Understanding the layout for a JK flip-flop
  • Trying to keep up with joe

  • Adding RSFlipFlop and JKFlipFlop latches to repo
  • Every little project helps
  • At the moment I seem to be keeping up
  • Trying to make a main file that can use all of these functions

  • Assembler, Compiler, Interpreter.
  • Gcc goes well with the C library

  • Trying to navagate the confusing tutorials
  • Shifting to the new language of C++

  • Just finished up tutorial 11 with the sound
  • Any good video game has to have sound in order to fully interact with the player

  • Trying to find enough time to finish up the tutorials

  • Going to spend today and tomorrow to find a project that suites this course
  • I haven't been able to spend enough time on tring to find a suitable project
  • What kind of project suites this course

  • edit: With helpful hints courtesy of Matt, I've decided to do a project about how the Super Mario Bros game is structured and how it can be modified by things such as a game-genie

  • Started two projects, Under the hood of Super Mario Bros and A Redstone logic tutorial in Minecraft
  • A found some code on Super Mario Bros although it is for the dos edition
  • The Redstone Logic Tutorial is an implementation of the play-hookey logic site into Minecraft

April 15, 2013

  • My next project is going to be setting up windows 7 inside the virtualbox program
  • This will be helpful when i want to use the operating system as I won't have to reboot my computer
  • I will also be able to use it along side my other Operating Systems

  • Ubuntu is a far better operating system than window
  • I feel like I have a lot better control over what goes on in the background of ubuntu
  • Having to install all of the programs for the course
  • None so far

  • cause when i finish i can put these to good use
  • wondering what to do with these tutorials
  • catching up on everything now that i have a lot more time

  • Finally had time to start working on an implementation of the pong game
  • To at least do this project for class
  • Deciding how big or small I want to make everything
  • Remembering all of the code to use
