Virtual Machines set up

1. open a terminal by ssh root@vmserver02.student.lab
2. run make sure you choose an open number on the table located on http://lab46.corning-cc.edu/haas/spring2011/hpc0/projects/creating_virtual_machines then follow the link to http://lab46.corning-cc.edu/notes:hpc0 and edit the table located near the bottom of the page
3. then enter the following command to set the vm server to work with chosen VM # xen-create-image –hostname=vmXX –mac=XX:XX:XX:XX:XX –role=udev making sure for all the double XX areas u fill in for the VM selected and then the Mac Address
4. when prompted to enter a new unix pass word make the password you like to have
5. then run the command xm create -c /xen/conf/vmXX.cfg on the comand line making note that XX is your VMXX is your vm then number
6. then login as root and use your set password
