At about 4:48am, all contact with the LAIR was lost. Turns out a water main outside the BDC broke, flooding the basement with up to 4 inches of standing water.
As it would turn out- our flood planning in LAIR reorganization those years ago paid off– the LAIR core machines were unharmed… lost some books and some individualized machines running on the floor, and in general there is quite a mess.
We will rise again!
