Week 1
Welcome to Systems Programming; the theme this semester will be game design through development teams!
There are 10 people in the class, divide yourselves into 3 groups– two of three each, and one of four.
These do not have to be permanent groups for the semester, merely for a given project.
Each group is responsible for collaboratively developing a classic 8-bit video game that runs on the pod machines in the LAIR (using SDL or ncurses libraries)
each group is creating a different game
each group utilizes a lab46 mercurial repository
each group member plays an equal role, developing and documenting
each group member must be familiar with the entire codebase of their game
