Case Study 0x6: Collaborative Documentation
~~TOC~~
To gain some familiarity the wiki and concepts of collaboration in accomplishing a task.
All semester, we've been making use of Internet Relay Chat, or IRC, to enable our class chatroom resource. There is considerable detail to IRC that is worth exploring deeper, especially with respect to understanding UNIX/Linux systems.
With that in mind, I would like for the entire class to collaboratively put together a wiki page that identifies, explains, explores, covers some history, demonstrates pieces of functionality, discusses client/server issues, and more or less provides a reader with information on Internet Relay Chat.
Each person is to contribute at least one section of information, and do additional edits to help organize and prune the document to create something that you'd find valuable if searching on the internet for information on this subject.
You are to utilize wiki syntax to stylize the document, I don't want everything in one endless paragraph.
The document will be put on the class notes wiki page, located at: http://lab46.corning-cc.edu/notes/unix
