====== Rearrange and Organize the student.lab Shelves ====== Mike Gough & Jamie Brandt Rearrange the computers. organize the wiring, and document the layout of the student.lab shelving area. Tidieness is next to godliness they say, well if that were the case, the lab shelves would be "down below" as they say (No offense to anybody that worked on it before!). The servers were re-ordered per Matt's instructions with a total de-wiring of the entire shelving area. We attached the power strips to the back of the shelves in more suitable locations for cabling purposes. The cabling routing was changed and all cables were wire-tied and organized. My goal is to put up an autocad drawing of the wall, but I've ran into technical export issues. Here is the final layout === Rack 0 (Located against the wall) === Server KVM /Port switch/port Power source Top shelf UPS wall power Lamarr 0/3 5 port switch ups ahhcobras 0/2 5 port switch ups koolaid 0/1 5 port switch ups 5 port switch ups Second shelf KVM 0 Strip 0 KVM 1 Strip 0 Switch 0 Port 23 connected to koolaid Strip 0 Third shelf VM1 1 / 5 0 / 1 Strip 1 VM2 1 / 6 0 / 2 Strip 1 VM3 1 / 7 0 / 3 Strip 1 VM4 1 / 8 0 / 4 Strip 1 Bottom shelf VM5 0 / 5 0 / 5 Strip 2 VM6 0 / 6 0 / 6 Strip 2 VM7 0 / 7 0 / 7 Strip 2 VM8 0 / 8 0 / 8 Strip 2 === Rack 1 === Top shelf C00 2 / 1 1 / 1 C01 2 / 2 1 / 2 C02 2 / 3 1 / 3 C03 2 / 4 1 / 4 Second shelf KVM02 KVM03 Switch 1 Third shelf C04 2 / 5 1 / 5 C05 2 / 6 1 / 6 C06 2 / 7 1 / 7 C07 2 / 8 1 / 8 Forth shelf G0 3 / 8 1 / 9 G1 3 / 7 1 / 10 G2 3 / 6 1 / 11 G3 3 / 5 1 / 12 Fifth shelf S10 3 / 3 1 / 16 GS 3 / 4 g
