===My name is Mason Faucett===

Not much to brag about new to the whole college thing.  I'm 18 and interested in computers.  I graduated high school in 2011 and due to financial and transportation issues i couldn't go to college in the fall semester like I planned to.  After several months of looking for a job, still no success, i decided to try my luck and see how far my money I do have can take me.  So as of today I am several days into the spring semester of 2012 at CCC ready to learn all i can about computers.

===Experience with Unix/Linux Fundamentals class===

This class was amazingly informative<--?? i don't think that's the right word, but i'm going to use it.  The teacher, the mysterious wedge was a great teacher and helped me out tons.  If not for him I may not have completed some of the assignments in a reasonable time frame.  My lack of experience with programming/scripting made this class hard at first, but after exploring with the commands a bit this class was very fun and I know then that this is what I want to do.  Programming, I thought, wouldn't be what I would like.  After taking my Object oriented problem solving class I have the logic of programming down pat, now all I need to do is learn a language and hopefully I can be successful in this field.
