The Network services project that I undertook consisted of setting up 3 virtual machine on vmserver02 using [[user:jbrant:creating_virtual_machines|]].\\
The objective was to create an authentication network.

After setting up the 3 servers I then installed Ldap to provide joint authentication across all the systems  This was done by using the step shown in the document [[user:jbrant:csit1320:ldap_install|Server installation]].

Next I installed Kerberos to handle password encryption. The step I took can be found in this document [[user:jbrant:csit1320:kerberos_install|Server installation of Kerberos]].

This completed my network service project.
