Teacher's Aide (2008 - 2013)
As a teacher's aide, I was exposed to a wide range of people with special needs and developmental as well as behavioural difficulties.
Responsibilities:
- Assist students and Teachers with behaviour modification goals. \\
- Provide personal care assistance in life skills and hygiene. \\
- Provide a safe and controlled environment for students to learn effectively. \\
**Southern Tier Environments for Living**
Care Provider (2011-2012)
As a care provider, I was exposed to a population of senior citizens living within a supportive community.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare meals and clean common areas of individuals.
- Check and administer propper medication to individuals.
**Chemung ARC**
Designated Service Provider (2013-2014)
At Chemung ARC, I was exposed to a wide population of many individuals that had special needs, in which I was required to have an eclectic range of support and skills to provide for.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support toward positive behavioral modification.
- Provide essential needs and assitance in transportation, hygiene, and meal preparation.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in their residence.
