Team Zombie Killers {{ notes:compess:zombiehunterzero.jpg }} **Day 1** First we gathered all the components of a computer: computer, monitor, keyboard and mouse. Before we hooked up the mouse, keyboard and monitor to the computer we needed to make sure that all of the components in the computer were in there and working properly otherwise the computer would not work. Components of the computer that we needed to identify were: CPU, memory, hard drive, optical drive, motherboard, power supply, graphics port, USB port, PS/2 port, parallel port, IDE cable, and the expansion slots. When we opened up the computer we noticed that a few components were missing or needed to be replaced. All of us were very fragile with replacing the components since we were not very familiar with the inside of the computer. We wanted to be sure that we didnt put something were it doesnt fit or break anything that would ruin the computer. We added memory and a hard drive to the computer then we hooked up the monitor, keyboard, and mouse to the computer and turned the computer on. The computer was not turning on properly so we turned the computer off and replaced the hard drive and the IDE cable that conents to the hard drive. After replacing the hard drive and IDE cable we turned the computer back on and it still was not turning on properly. We then called attention to Mr. Haas by flailing our hands (universal sign for help in the Lair) and Haas determined that the computer was broken and that we needed to grab a new computer. We grabbed a new computer and started the process of verifying that all of the components in the computer were there and working. Again we replaced the hard drive and the IDE cable that conects to the hard drive. We also added ram to the computer. The computer was able to turn on but wasn't recognizing the hard drive we hooked up. We flailed our hands again since we knew everything was connected properly. Mr. Haas change a couple setting in the BIOS. After the changes in the BIOS we shut the computer down and then turned it back on and it was then that we were successful with completing the process of fixing the computer! **Day 2** It was an ordinary day, just like any other until a team of four zombie killers dropped into the CCC BDC building looking for supplys. Upon entering the BDC building and dispatching multiple threats The team of 4 made their way to the locked door downstairs, GrizzlyCommando and Zk-07 opend the locked door not buy entering some coded mumbo jumbo but a super more awesome way by kicking the door clean of its hinges. After clearing what seemed to be the remains of a human with an id that read: CCC: Ha, Math.....(most of the nametag was covered in blood and pus.) off a pc labeled D-E-L-L. The team went to work rebooting the machine to start a program called : "ubuntu" as an operating system. before install the program needed to be PXE booted. The Ranger52 went to work on installing the Government issued OS "ubuntu". Halfway through instalation Ranger52 discovered a message that lead GrizzlyCommando, DS-Liquidlightning and ZK-07 on a mission to the refueling station on the corner. there the group found the needed suppies to sustain them selfs. upon returning to the now unlocked room they found Rnager52 slowly being entagled in some freak Hydroponics experiment years after civilization ended the plants have become ferral and lack the required sunlight and nutrients. Ranger52 was slowly being drained of all nutrients. ZK-07's quick thinking saved Ranger52 by feeding the plant nutrient rich water found under the desk in the back thus sustaining the plants. Rnager52 was too tired and lacked "coffee" there for DS-Liquidlightning continued the boot by partitioning the hard drives-manualy at 90% and 10% viva "linuxsetup" and "bootable" using the local mirrior the group of 4 was able to access information upon the vast World Wide Web about local areas with multiple resources for their survival. thus continuing their journey..... for now!!!! **Day 3** Protocol: 1293. 1312. 02 <\> *Under Penalty of (UNSC) Law *Sub Section D of Point 4a * //- Must comply with standards for sub level 3 of ONI -\\ Ref: 1-0-h-sd-4 <23-09-2010> -P0L36RoUP: Contact-0700 LAT:32'3 LON:92'23 UNSC-REACH Radio Contact:0735 " " " //Transmission Lost\\ Contact 0800 " " " //End Transmission\\ #TERMINATION OF FEED IS REQUIRED BY ONI HQ-3# *ONI-3 FILE UNDER UNSC LAW 0823-232.3 <> #FEED TERMINATED#
