This caused problems where user submitted cron jobs that generate errors or output would not be sent to the appropriate designee for diagnosis, but to me. I finally fixed this, via some combination of the following methods: * Postfix address rewriting http://www.postfix.org/postconf.5.html#local_header_rewrite_clients * changing /etc/mailname on mail.offbyone.lan AND lab46 to be **lab46.corning-cc.edu** Now, everything seems to be working, with no new problems introduced. ======March 7th, 2012====== =====werc===== Finally got were working on a VM. I think my problem was with either plan9port, or its non-standard PATH not getting inherited properly, preventing it from finding rather fundamental and critical components, such as 'rc'.
