======Customizing your VIM session======
Since we'll be using VIM quite a bit this semester (and hopefully beyond!), we should customize it to make it even more useful than it is already!

=====Create/Edit your ~/.vimrc file=====
Open your vim config file:

=====Enter settings=====
Here are some good starter settings you may find useful. Use your references to look up what these options do.

syn on
set cursorline
set number
set smartindent

Save and exit when done.

When you next open vim to edit a file, you should notice some differences in both appearance and behavior.
